Held in Hampshire, Katie and John’s tipi wedding was wonderfully eclectic and full of quirky touches. The lovely couple tied the knot in their local church, St Mary’s in Liss before heading to their party reception.

Their brief for the tipis was a very fun, relaxed and casual party atmosphere with lots of fairy lights and bright colours – they pretty much hit the nail on the head. Each and every element of the wedding was full of colour and sparkle, and the handmade feel gave a beautiful personal touch to their very special day.

With a more intimate guest list they opted for long tables and benches in spokes of a wheel around the fire – very cosy! They used pretty doily tablecloths with lots of jars, cutlery buckets and pastel shades to dress their rustic tables. We don’t get to see a lot of weddings with the tables set out in this way, and it looks just perfect.

When the night drew in the lights took over, and the tipis looked spectacular. The bright colours carried on through the night, keeping that party atmosphere throughout the whole day. Katie and John are known for throwing fun parties at home, and I think it’s safe to say this will always be their very best!

A big big thank you to the talented Angela Ward Brown of angelawardbrown.com for allowing us to share these beautiful photos.

From Katie & John: “We had such a perfect day, thank you!!”
